Easee One
7kW, untethered as standard
£916 fitted

EV charger installation in Durham at a fixed, fully-fitted price from £916. NICEIC-approved, OZEV-approved engineers about 35 minutes away, with every certificate and grant handled.

Durham is 35 minutes from our Northallerton base, and we install across the city, its villages and the former pit towns around it at the same fixed fitted prices.
We're an NICEIC Approved Contractor and OZEV-approved installer. Every Durham install is tested, certified and registered with building control, and notified to Northern Powergrid before we leave.
Around Durham we also cover Framwellgate Moor, Gilesgate, Belmont, Brandon, Chester-le-Street, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland and the rest of the DH1–DH7 postcodes.
Tight streets and older stock need thoughtful cable routing, which the photo survey settles before we quote. For on-street parking, Durham County Council has a cross-pavement team to contact before anything is fitted.
Durham is a big rental city, and landlords can claim £500 per socket at residential lets. We handle the grant paperwork with the quote.
Framwellgate Moor, Gilesgate, Belmont and Brandon are classic 3–4 hour installs at standard fitted prices.

Cables for untethered chargers and longer tethered leads are available as extras. If you want a charger that isn't listed here, tell us in the quote form and we'll price a tailored install for it. We confirm options and exact pricing when your quote comes through.
Send a few photos of your fuse board and parking spot through the quote form. You get a fixed, fully-fitted price. Most installs need no home visit first.
Most home installs take 3–4 hours. We route the cabling neatly, fit and commission the charger, and leave everything tested and tidy.
We set up the app, pair your energy tariff and hand over your certificates. We notify the DNO and claim any grant on your behalf.

The questions that decide which charger you can have and what the install involves.
Most Durham homes have a single-phase supply, which tops out at 7kW. That adds around 25–30 miles of range an hour, so an empty battery is full by morning on a cheap overnight tariff.
Three-phase supplies are rare in houses and common at farms and business premises. On three-phase we can fit an 11kW or 22kW charger, but many cars only accept 11kW on AC, so we check your car before recommending one.
Northern Powergrid runs the electricity network across County Durham, and we notify them of every charger we fit. If your main fuse is small or your supply is shared with a neighbour, we get their approval before install day. You get an Electrical Installation Certificate, and the job is registered with building control through NICEIC.
If you have solar panels, a charger like the myenergi Zappi can charge from spare generation. Every charger we fit can be scheduled around cheap overnight tariffs, and we set up the app with you before we leave.
Renters, flat owners, on-street households, landlords, businesses and schools in Durham can all get money off. We check which scheme applies when we quote and deduct it, so there's nothing to claim back.

What your council allowsYes. Durham is about 35 minutes from our Northallerton base, comfortably inside our patch, and we cover the surrounding areas too: Framwellgate Moor, Gilesgate, Belmont, Brandon, Chester-le-Street and the rest of the DH1–DH7 postcodes.
The same fixed prices as everywhere we work: £916–£1,142 fully fitted depending on the charger, including cabling up to 5 metres, certification and DNO notification. There is no distance charge for Durham and nothing added on the day.
Yes. The landlord chargepoint grant gives £500 per socket at residential rental properties, and a charger is an increasingly persuasive feature for lets. We confirm eligibility, claim the grant and deduct it from your quote.
Yes, if you rent, own a flat or park on the street: the EV chargepoint grant takes up to £500 off. Landlords can claim £500 per socket at rental properties, and businesses £500 per socket through the Workplace Charging Scheme. Homeowners with their own driveway aren't eligible. We check which scheme applies when we quote and deduct it for you.
The photo survey replaces a home visit for most installs, so there is no extra appointment to wait for. Once you accept your fixed quote we book you into the next available slot and confirm the date with your quote.
